LINDA ARGILA, Professional Fundraiser, motivator and founder of Challenge to TriumphTM welcomes you to the 3rd Annual DREAM EXTREME, part of a series of motivational events with KB4girls. Kiteboarding has empowered Linda to rise above challenges in her life. Ten years ago she was faced with the ultimate challenge when sentenced to one year in federal prison. While incarcerated she had a vision and upon her release she set out to use her knowledge to help children, who like her own daughter, experienced separation from their mother. Nearly a decade later, Linda has raised more than $25 million for charity through large-scale galas and other events patronized by world renowned artists, celebrities and leaders in business and philanthropy. DREAM EXTREME is a continuation of her motivational and fundraising mission, inspiring women (and men alike) to triumph over challenge. Linda says, "Kiting gives me strength and reinforces my self-confidence. It gives me that needed spark to recharge my spirit and attitude, creating positive energy in my life." |
KRISTIN BOESE, Sports Model, Guinness World Record Holder and 9-Time World Kiteboarding Champion, was born in East Germany and grew up behind the confines of the Iron Curtain. A natural athlete, Kristin excelled at organized sporting throughout her life. When the wall broke down, Kristin too, broke free into the world of water sports. While visiting Spain in 2002 Kristin learned to kiteboard, and since then her kiting career has exploded. She gives back through her KB4girls worldwide clinics, promoting the sport among women. Kristin says, "Kiteboarding has completely changed my life. I am inspired to give back by bringing kiting to women worldwide through the KB4girls kiting clinics. The artistry and skill involved in kiteboarding resonates with females in particular, and every smile, every success story, every happy kiter, gives me new motivation to spread the power of kiting further." |
